21. Ordinance 8-17, First Reading, Housing Element Comprehensive Plan Text Amendment – To modify Policy 1.2.10 associated with mandatory requirements of the Workforce Housing Program. (Second Reading – 8/3/17) [TAB 21] 22. Ordinance 4-17, First Reading, Workforce Housing Regulations - Zoning text amendment to Chapter 27, Article X, Division 42 entitled “Workforce Housing (WFH) Program” to: • Allow for greater flexibility in meeting the existing requirements by allowing for off-site WFH units; • Eliminate the WFH increased percentage requirement when a property only requires a rezoning; • Reduce the WFH percentage requirement when a property requires a land use change resulting in additional density from 20% to 12%; • Incentivize the donation of land instead of paying the in lieu fee as an option to producing workforce housing units; • Clarify that developments consisting solely of WFH units are not required to provide additional WFH units; • Clarify density bonus provisions.(Second Reading – 8/3/17) [TAB22]
